This Combo Tank combines our 1988-1998 GMT400 Pressurized Coolant Surge Tank with a customizable crankcase breather filter (Catch Can), in one direct-bolt-on package.
These are designed to be used on applications where the radiator is NOT equipped with a pressure cap (such as the 1999-2006 GM truck radiators); common with LS Swaps. Breather Filter

Each Canister is double baffled prior to the outlet filter for maximum oil particulate separation.
Sandwiched between the two internal baffles, this 3M stainless steel filter mesh provides exceptional oil particulate separation, while still allowing necessary breathability and airflow.
Both canisters drain into the Breather Filter Can body, and funnel towards the drain valve.
Two 3" outlet filters provide the final method of oil separation. These filters are removable and servicable. They can be washed and re-used, or easily replaced when needed.
Removal of the filters also allows for flushing of the Breather Filter Can body. Simply open the drain valve and flush the can with a solvent such as brake cleaner or mineral spirits and allow to dry.
