Customizing

We offer customization of any of our tanks. Our Combo Tanks can be offered with a Pressurized Fill Cap, Tube Style Sight Glass, or different fittings to meet your application. Please contact us (email or phone) to customize your tank.

We are waiting on a supply of our NEW vented caps. All reservoir orders expected to ship within approx. 2 weeks.

Based on our flagship 1988-1998 GMT400 Coolant Reservoir (unpressurized), this Combo Tank combines our coolant reservoir with a customizable crankcase breather filter (Catch Can), in one direct-bolt-on package.  MADE IN USA

*These are not designed to be plumbed back into the engine in any manner

*We are not responsible for any failure of the Emission Control System or Emission Inspections through modifications of the crankcase breathers, PCV System, etc. 

WILL NOT FIT WITH OEM 5.7L AIR FILTER HOUSING

Finish Notes

  • Natural reservoirs are aluminum in an unfinished state. They may have minor scratches and tooling marks. Weld etch lines will be visible.
  • Polished reservoirs will be polished on all outward facing panels. This is a mirror polish. Fill caps are also polished. Firewall side (back) is unpolished.
  • Seconds are fully functional reservoirs that:
  1. May have inconsistencies in appearance of welds (Perfect for those who want to grind/sand off the welds).
  2. Have heavier scratches or tooling marks than Natural reservoirs
  3. Have other minor visual imperfections

Revisions

As of 5/15/25, all Combo Tanks will now exclude the internally baffled overflow fitting (upper fitting in photos) which has been replaced with a vented fill cap.

As of 10/1/25, all reservoirs will be fabricated from .125" 5052 aluminum over the previous .100" 5052.

See What's Inside

Each Canister is double baffled prior to the outlet filter for maximum oil particulate separation.

Sandwiched between the two internal baffles, this 3M stainless steel filter mesh provides exceptional oil particulate separation, while still allowing necessary breathability and airflow.

Both canisters drain into the Breather Filter Can body, and funnel towards the drain valve.

Two 3" outlet filters provide the final method of oil separation. These filters are removable and servicable. They can be washed and re-used, or easily replaced when needed.

Removal of the filters also allows for flushing of the Breather Filter Can body. Simply open the drain valve and flush the can with a solvent such as brake cleaner or mineral spirits and allow to dry.

Coolant & breather/catch can tank!

Tank design and setup are perfect! Fits great with the A/C accumulator next to it, I used -10an 45 degree fittings, just have to be sure to clock ac hose correctly.
Fits, functions, looks beautiful! Highly recommend all Kloc fab parts!
