This tank was a custom order product but was ordered with the incorrect AN fitting size on the breather filter.
We had to cut out the first welded-in fittings and welded in a new "patch panel" so we could install the correct fitting sizes. When we welded in the fittings, the front fitting pulled very slightly - see the slight angle on the front fitting in the photos.
This tank is equipped with -12AN fittings on the breather filter side. The surge tank has a 1/2" NPT welded-in fitting for the coolant connection. Pressure Tested and fully functional
This is a SURGE TANK. This is to be used where the radiator is not equipped with a pressure cap. If your radiator has a pressure cap, please see our Unpressurized Combo Tanks on the home page.
